Jill Nickerson is Culinary Director at the Milwaukee Public Market. Growing up on a family farm in northern Iowa, Jill learned how to cook using local, homegrown ingredients at her disposal and entertain with a distinctly Midwestern charm. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Consumer Science from the College of Home Economics, and shortly thereafter moved to Milwaukee, where she has lived since 1982. These days, Jill travels around the world and around the streets of Milwaukee – a burgeoning culinary epicenter – exploring culinary curiosities along the way.

She has taught cooking classes at the Milwaukee Public Market and Williams Sonoma, has frequently appeared on Fox 6 Wake Up doing cooking demonstrations and edited cookbooks for Reiman Publications.

Jill is married to her husband, Greg, and has two children, Mike and Tyler.
